WIWT: Dinner and drinks

Heading to Christmas work drinks, or an evening date this December? I always find it tough after you’ve picked an outfit, to then have to chuck a big coat on the top to stay warm. So, in a bid to stay warm and fashionable, I chose to layer-up and accessorise with a scarf instead. Primark super cosy tights are fleece-lined, life savers.

Outfit: If it ain’t broke…

I know, I know…you shouldn’t really wear the same outfit so close together…but I’ve changed it up…a bit!! Instead of black knee high boots, I’ve gone for the comfy converse (they are the black denim edition – mens!) and a chain print scarf, from River Island.

I also decided to have my hair down, less effort than a messy up do (which actually does require more effort than it may appear!!)

Let me know what you think 🙂

PS my purple hair has started to fade…should I re-dye it purple, or a different shade altogether? Let me know!!

Outfit: Saturday Chic

I recently went to London on a shopping trip with my best friend Robyn. We spent the whole day walking up and down Oxford street, and found some amazing pieces.

The outfit below is mostly from that London trip. The maxi skirt is from Zara, and was such a bargain – under £20! It’s in a dark berry shade too – so def OTM for AW2012.

The leather jacket I live in – from missguided. The scarf is from Accesorize, and the tshirt is miss selfridges.

Let me know how you’re wearing this seasons trends in the comment box below. Love hearing from you all!

Outfit – Casual Day & Night

Below are a couple of outfits I wore recently – in the same day.

The first was for a casual shopping, lunch and drinks in the garden style day. The second was for date night, but in a relaxed, chilled restaurant.

Let me know what you think about the outfits, and what you’re wearing now the weather is getting a bit rubbish!

Outfit – Work (August)

Today I opted for a simple outfit for work. Minimal accessories, just a grey oversized handbag and my glasses. (The image is available below…)

I wore a black pencil skirt from DP, with a really understated peplum – great if you want to try the trend, but don’t want a really over the top peplum. The top was a great buy from Primark – the zip on the back is for design only, it’s not functional.
The faux leather jacket is from MissGuided online, and has a detachable shearling collar, and zips on the sleeves. It was such a great buy and I have worn it so much over the last year!
My glasses were from the £85 range at Specsavers. They are so comfortable, and I love the design along the arms of the frames.

What do you think to the outfit? How could it be updated for AW2012?

Thanks for reading,
A x
