So, I thought I’d follow up this weeks post with a slightly more affordable day to night look!

Whenever I go out after work I often take an entire change of clothes, but it generally means I have to leave half my wardrobe at work, which can be a hassle the following Monday!

Let me know what you think of this outfit, and post and ideas you have in the comments.

Outfit: If it ain’t broke…

I know, I know…you shouldn’t really wear the same outfit so close together…but I’ve changed it up…a bit!! Instead of black knee high boots, I’ve gone for the comfy converse (they are the black denim edition – mens!) and a chain print scarf, from River Island.

I also decided to have my hair down, less effort than a messy up do (which actually does require more effort than it may appear!!)

Let me know what you think 🙂

PS my purple hair has started to fade…should I re-dye it purple, or a different shade altogether? Let me know!!

Outfit: Saturday Night Eats

Last night I went to a Indian buffet restaurant with my boyfriend, and some of his friends.

The blazer is from Mango, and the sleeves roll right down. It fits so well, and I’m wearing a M/12-14.

The jeans are Topshop, Baxter. I go through leggings so quickly so I thought I’d invest in some black skinny jeans – they’re quite tight but are an amazing fit. They do so many leg lengths too, which is fab for a tall girl like me!

The pumps are H & M, and the top is old season Topshop.

Let me know what you think!

White Glitter

20120926-125448 PM.jpg

As you know I love experimenting with nail colours, and I recently bought a gold glitter by Barry M.

However, when I used the glitter on a pale nail – the glitter wasn’t a solid look, and it looked almost patchy.

So, I looked around (mostly at Pinterest) and saw some great pastel shades teamed with a glitter top coat.

So, here is my take on this trend. Simple white varnish with a thin layer of gold glitter – I think it really makes the gold stand out!

What do you think? Have you been wearing glitter recently?

Let me know,

Outfit – Casual Day & Night

Below are a couple of outfits I wore recently – in the same day.

The first was for a casual shopping, lunch and drinks in the garden style day. The second was for date night, but in a relaxed, chilled restaurant.

Let me know what you think about the outfits, and what you’re wearing now the weather is getting a bit rubbish!

Outfit – September Sun

Allllll week everyone had been going on about how nice the weather was going to be this weekend, and (for once!) it actually turned out alright!

Knowing that I was going to be outside the majority of the day, I knew I needed to wear shorts underneath my outfit – so there was no embarrassing, Marilyn-esque situations.

The skirt is a recent buy from Miss Selfridge’s. It’s a jersey material skater skirt, with an elasticated waist. I originally saw it and thought that it could’ve been too clingy, or too short…but it’s actually nothing like that. I can wear it low on my hips, or high like in the images below. Another +, it was an absolute bargain.

The top is from New Look and came in sooo many different colours. I chose this because, not only is it a great red/purple shade, but berry is OTM this AW.

Trainers as before in previous outfit posts – white converse, which got a clean in the sea, too 🙂

What do you think to my new ‘do, too? I had it cut to a long bob (a la Mollie King), with blonde highlights to lift the look.

Let me know what you think about this post, or anything else!

Outfit – Pre-Autumn

I am pretty indecisive at the best of times, but in the weird weather between the seasons it’s always so hard to decide what to wear!

I had to be outside most of today (being a wag…again!) so the sensible *yawn* option was layers. The jumper featured in my last outfit blog, and is great because it’s thin, but also is a great cover-up. The chinos were from Republic, and are actually navy blue, paired with leather boots – something I think will be BIG this season, especially with the military/tweed/equestrian tailoring trends.

The leather jacket is from Missguided online – something I’ve featured before.

Let me know what you think, and how you want to wear AW2012 trends!

Outfit – Being a WAG

Ok…so, today my boyfriend is playing in a football match. I agreed to come and watch, like a supportive girlfriend…but it’s chucking it down!! (I’m currently sat in his car, sheltering from said downpour)

Prior to the rain it was a nice day, so I decided to get the most out of my summer pastels before it’s definitely A/W. I wear Converse sooo much. I have a few pairs, but I love my plain white pumps the best – they’re so comfy, and really versatile.

Omg, its just started hailing – and lightening!!!

I love pastel shades, and mint or pale pinks are probably my favourites. The jeans I’m wearing we’re a great buy from Primark. The only problem is I’m quite tall (5ft 11″) so their jeans always come up quite short, and they don’t always wash so well. Despite that, they were so cheap that it doesn’t really matter – its called disposable fashion for a reason!

The jumper is a new purchase today, from New Look. It is really baggy, and it isn’t itchy or too thick – ideal for the transition between summer (have we really had summer yet?!) to autumn fashion. The necklace is vintage Miss Selfridges.
